On Sunday we went out to eat for lunch and did a little bit of Christmas shopping!
"Okay, what is up for lunch?"
"Mmmmm...I like me some oranges!"
Perusing the books at Barnes & Noble....
Checking out the toys at Imagine That! (a local toy store)
"Hey horsey--wanna go for a ride?"
"ARRGGHH!!! I've always had a little bit of pirate in me!"
This was THE toy of the afternoon--she pushed this little baby ALL OVER the store. She kept repositioning the doll in the stroller and saying "Sit!" She had sooooo much fun!
And then we had to leave.....
...and then we had our First Public Meltdown!
Oh yes, she was That Baby
Yes, I carried a SCREAMING child out of the toystore.
In the parking lot crying "BABY!!! BABY!!!"
.....on Rock Rd....now screaming "BABY!!!!"
This is Insane.
What is even more insane is that for one split second Jeff and I seriously considered buying the Baby and Stroller to stop the Insanity.
But only for a split second.
After all, we don't want to have a 16 year old that throws temper tantrums:)
On Hillside Ave.....now hyperventilating and crying "BABY!!!"
At this point I am realizing why we don't give birth to full-blown toddlers......it gives us at least a year to love that sweet little infant.....get attached to it......become blinded by love.....so that we don't abandon them on the side of the road when they suddenly go INSANE!!!
On 45th St and still not letting up....now hiccuping and crying...
In the driveway and still exhibiting a disproportionate amount of Fury regarding the "Baby Stroller Incident".
We have nicknamed her Flan the Little Furor!
This is why Mommy and Daddy drink wine.
This is why a take breaks from homework to look at the flannery files. Really, really funny!!! Hope you guys are doing great!
