The Plan: head into the Twin Cities early--have a nice French Breakfast at Chez Charlotte and then hit IKEA early, quick and be home by naptime.
Here is what really happened.....
Flannery doctoring my $5 coffee with sugar cubes
Waiting.....waiting for our food......I got a "french omlette" which actually was an overcooked regular omelett. Jeff tried to get apple crepes.....which first came as apple french toast.....then came back as ham & cheese crepes....by this point (an hour into our breakfast) we are wishing we had just gotten the croissants and coffee....
It is now 11:30 am....and we are still here.......egads....now we are heading to IKEA at noon...on a Saturday.....along with half the population of Minnesota...

We have been here for like an hour and a half.....it is BLAZING hot in this store......there are people EVERYWHERE....
It is so hot that even Will is getting peeved
Now we wait in line for like 45 min.....we just want out.....we can't leave our stuff.....we have invested to much to get here....
Jeff and I take turns holding a crying baby......the line is not moving....
Finally home and the REAL fun begins!
